I used to draw with hi-tech or micron and was very resistant to the use of the traditional soft brushes.
After taking Yuko Shimizu's drawing lessons on Skillshare, I tried to switch to soft brush by starting with Chinese calligraphy.
Then I started to use those calligraphy techniques in drawing, which I found out the possibility is endless. The line created by the soft brush is unpredictable yet full of surprises.
I think I will never use hi-tech or micron again.
